Job Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • authorized to work in the United States
  • able to pass background and drug screening
  • physically able to lift up to 75 pounds consistently
  • able to stand, stoop, bend, push, and pull throughout the shift
  • able to complete airport security training
  • able to obtain an airport badge

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • no previous baggage handling experience necessary
  • strong verbal and written communication skills
  • ability to follow safety and security procedures
  • customer service experience preferred
  • ability to work weekends and holidays
  • ability to stand, stoop, bend, and lift up to 75 pounds consistently throughout the shift

Job Duties

  • Verifying passenger boarding pass with checked baggage
  • loading passenger luggage onto the security screening induction belt
  • communicating effectively and clearly with passengers
  • asking passengers safety and security questions
  • working closely with airline ticket counter agents
  • completing required security training and compliance
  • obtaining and maintaining airport security badges
