Job Requirements
- Possess a current Commercial Pilot Certificate or Airline Transport Pilot rating
- Hold valid first or second-class medical certificate
- Meet minimum total flight hours of 1750 including 1150 pilot-in-command hours
- Complete FAA initial flight test training
- Provide documentation of military flight experience if applicable
- Maintain required ratings for single-engine, multi-engine, and instrument flying
- Demonstrate recency of flight experience including 100 hours in last 12 months
- Pass proficiency flight check if required
- Submit specialized experience equivalent to FV-I, FG/GS-13 level
Job Qualifications
- Commercial Pilot Certificate or Airline Transport Pilot rating with single-engine and multi-engine land and instrument ratings
- Appropriate military pilot ratings accepted
- Possession of a valid first or second-class medical certificate
- Completion of FAA initial flight test training courses
- Minimum of 1750 total flight hours with at least 1150 pilot-in-command hours
- Specialized experience equivalent to FV-I, FG/GS-13 level
- Demonstrated ability to operate heavy multi-engine airplanes or heavy helicopters
- Experience in flight testing and flight data analysis
Job Duties
- Conduct flight operations as pilot in command or copilot of heavy multi-engine airplanes or helicopters
- Perform flight testing to establish airworthiness and compliance with civil, military, or foreign standards
- Analyze and interpret aircraft performance data for engineering approval
- Complete required FAA initial flight test training and maintain current pilot certifications
- Demonstrate proficiency through flight checks in aircraft or simulators
- Ensure strict adherence to FAA safety regulations and protocols
- Maintain accurate and detailed flight logs and documentation
