Job Requirements
- Possess a valid first or second-class medical certificate
- Obtain first-class medical certificate prior to appointment
- Hold a current Commercial Pilot Certificate or ATP rating
- Meet total flight time of 1750 hours
- Maintain pilot-in-command time of 1150 hours
- Demonstrate 75 hours of night flying
- Provide 100 hours of flying in the last 12 months
- Exhibit 500 hours in heavy multi-engine airplanes or helicopters
- Possess 75 hours of instrument flight time
- Provide military flight experience documentation if applicable
- Complete FAA initial flight test training courses
- Pass FAA flight check where required
Job Qualifications
- Valid first or second-class medical certificate
- Commercial Pilot Certificate or Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) rating
- Single-engine and multi-engine land and instrument ratings
- Minimum 1750 total flight hours
- Minimum 1150 pilot-in-command hours
- 75 hours of night flying
- 100 hours of flight in the last 12 months
- At least 500 hours in heavy multi-engine airplanes or helicopters
- Completion of flight test school or equivalent experience
Job Duties
- Conduct flight tests and evaluations
- Analyze aircraft performance data
- Ensure compliance with FAA regulations
- Demonstrate proficiency in aircraft and simulator flight
- Complete required FAA training courses
- Maintain and update pilot certifications
- Document flight operations and prepare detailed reports
