Job Requirements

  • FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license
  • Minimum of three years of directly related heavy aircraft maintenance experience
  • Must be able to inspect repair and operate ground support and auxiliary equipment
  • Must be able to read and interpret manufacturer and maintenance manuals service bulletins and technical diagrams
  • Ability to qualify for and maintain government security clearance
  • Possess a current state issued driver’s license
  • Must be physically capable of performing manual tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds climbing and working in variable weather conditions

Job Qualifications

  • Possess an FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license in good standing
  • Have three or more years of heavy aircraft maintenance experience
  • Demonstrate the ability to read interpret aircraft maintenance manuals service bulletins and technical diagrams
  • Experience complying with applicable aircraft servicing procedures and parts catalogs
  • Ability to operate and repair ground support and auxiliary equipment
  • Capability to maintain government security clearance and access
  • Hold a current state issued driver’s license

Job Duties

  • Perform inspections scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on company aircraft in accordance with FAA regulations manufacturer and company maintenance manuals and procedures
  • Service operate and maintain ground support equipment and perform interior and exterior cleaning of aircraft and work areas
  • Precisely complete all maintenance documentation
  • Perform additional duties such as flight mechanic flight attendant or other job-related duties as required
  • Carry out tasks involving climbing standing stooping stretching and squatting for equipment movement and maintenance
  • Read interpret and use manufacturers and aircraft manuals service bulletins blueprints wiring schematic diagrams data tables and other specifications to assess repair or replacement methods
  • Maintain compliance with safety quality and operational procedures
