Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver's license
- Ability to obtain a SIDA badge
- Authorization to work in the U.S.
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to work in confined spaces and adverse weather conditions
- Physical ability to lift and move 50 pounds regularly
- Willingness to work assigned shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to operate forklifts, tugs, and lifts after training
- Compliance with company attendance and appearance guidelines
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver's license
- Ability to obtain a SIDA badge and meet local airport requirements
- Ability to read and understand operations procedures and regulations
- Capacity to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds
- Effective communication skills in writing, verbally, and via radio equipment
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, holidays, and overtime
- Compliance with company attendance and grooming standards
Job Duties
- Clean, wash, and polish the interior and exterior of airplanes, airplane parts, maintenance equipment, shops, and hangars
- Replace aircraft seat covers and aisle rugs on service checks, turnarounds, or through-flights
- Drive motor vehicles when necessary in connection with Appearance Technician duties
- Carry out safety and security initiatives as directed by Southwest Airlines or FAA
- Operate forklifts, tugs, scissor lifts, and boom lifts after training
- Climb ladders, stairs, and stands as required during cleaning and maintenance tasks
- Perform other job duties as directed by Employee's Leaders
