Job Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends, holidays, and days off
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting 50 lbs, bending, reaching, and working in confined spaces
  • Willingness to comply with site security procedures
  • Must adhere to collective bargaining agreement conditions
  • Must report to work on time when scheduled

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED or equivalent
  • Previous experience in cleaning services preferred
  • Previous experience in aviation industry preferred
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently
  • Cognitive skills for inspecting, sorting, and assembling supplies
  • Ability to follow detailed checklists and procedures
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Equip airplane cabin according to checklist specifications with rugs, linens, blankets, and other supplies
  • Carry supplies weighing up to 50 lbs on board aircraft
  • Check condition, clean, sort, count, salvage or store equipment and assemble kits
  • Operate vacuum cleaner and mechanized cleaning tools
  • Verify deliveries of supplies against requisitions for discrepancies
  • Perform manual and powered cleaning of aircraft interior including lavatories, storage bins, and meal trays
  • Complete aircraft cleaning bills of work and required forms
  • Stock and clean vehicles and cabin service makeup areas
  • Maintain and stock cabin service kits
  • Dispose of trash, rubbish, and waste related to cleaning functions
  • Use cleaning fluids and materials such as scrapers, squeegees, and vacuum cleaners
