Job Requirements
- US citizenship
- Ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust clearance
- Minimum of five years FAA CPC experience or recent FAA contract instructor experience
- Experience at the same or higher level ATC facility as New York ARTCC (ZNY)
- Proficiency with ATC automation and simulation systems
- Strong communication and mentoring skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- FAA CPC certification
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- FAA Certified Professional Controller (CPC) certification
- Minimum of five years of FAA CPC experience controlling live traffic or recent contract instructor experience at an FAA facility
- Strong technical skills with ATC automation and simulation systems
- Experience mentoring and instructing a diverse student body
- Ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust clearance
- Knowledge of FAA procedures and training requirements
Job Duties
- Deliver classroom and simulation laboratory training to developmental and certified air traffic controllers
- Mentor students and Remote Pilot Operators
- Participate in curriculum design and development
- Support certification processes for radar and non-radar simulation laboratories
- Utilize current ATC automation and simulation systems proficiently
- Interface effectively with FAA personnel to meet training objectives
- Maintain compliance with FAA standards and operational procedures
