Job Requirements
- U.S. citizenship
- Ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust clearance
- Minimum five years of FAA Certified Professional Controller experience
- Experience controlling live air traffic at the Philadelphia ATCT/TRACON level or higher
- Knowledge of current ATC automation and simulation systems
- High school diploma or equivalent
- FAA Certified Professional Controller certification
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- FAA Certified Professional Controller (CPC) certification
- Minimum five years of FAA CPC experience controlling live traffic
- Experience with ATC automation and simulation systems
- Ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust clearance
- Strong instructional and mentoring skills
- Experience designing and delivering training content and simulation scenarios
Job Duties
- Deliver high-quality classroom instruction to air traffic control trainees
- Conduct simulation laboratory training sessions using various ATC simulation platforms
- Mentor developmental air traffic controllers and Remote Pilot Operators
- Participate in curriculum design and scenario development for training simulations
- Collaborate with FAA personnel to ensure training meets operational needs and standards
- Evaluate trainee performance and provide constructive feedback
- Maintain certifications including Instructor-II and simulation laboratory qualifications
