Job Requirements
- US citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust clearance
- high school diploma or equivalent
- FAA Certified Professional Controller certification
- minimum five years FAA CPC experience at same or greater level facility
- ability to obtain Instructor-II Simulation Laboratory and Classroom Certification
- experience with ATC simulators and scenario design preferred
- demonstrated communication skills with FAA personnel
- no current requirement for COVID-19 vaccination though customer site rules apply
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- FAA Certified Professional Controller certification
- ability to obtain and maintain Instructor-II Simulation Laboratory and Classroom Certification
- minimum five years FAA CPC experience controlling live traffic or recent FAA contract instructor experience
- experience at Phoenix TRACON or equivalent level facility
- excellent teaching and platform skills
- demonstrated ability to manage classrooms effectively and deliver student-focused training
- strong interpersonal skills to work with FAA personnel at all levels
Job Duties
- Deliver classroom and simulation laboratory training to developmental and certified air traffic controllers
- mentor students and Remote Pilot Operators
- design and develop curriculum and training scenarios
- maintain up-to-date knowledge of FAA ATC automation and simulation systems
- interface with FAA personnel to align training with operational requirements
- obtain and maintain necessary FAA instructor certifications
- ensure compliance with FAA training standards and policies
