Job Requirements

  • Minimum of one year experience as an air or ocean import specialist for a freight forwarder
  • Proficiency in freight forwarding software including CargoWise, SAP, AS400
  • Understanding of relevant state, federal, and international laws and regulations related to import services
  • Strong work ethic with an appreciation for ownership, independence, accountability, and autonomy
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

  • Utilize freight forwarding software such as CargoWise, SAP, and AS400 for shipment tracking and documentation
  • Prepare and review import documentation for accuracy and completeness
  • Resolve shipment issues and coordinate solutions with internal and external stakeholders
  • Maintain thorough records of import activities and transactions
