Job Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent
  • must be at least 18 years of age
  • valid driver’s license
  • ability to successfully communicate with others
  • previous ramp experience
  • ability to work rotating shifts including weekends, holidays, and days off
  • ability to work in high-noise environments
  • ability to pull, push, and lift bags weighing up to 70 lbs

  • ability to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently
  • ability to work rotating shifts including weekends, holidays, and days off

Job Duties

  • Loading and unloading cargo including mail, express, baggage, freight, and company materials on and off aircraft
  • transporting cargo between terminals and aircraft
  • performing ramp transfers of cargo as required
  • receiving, delivering, and physically handling freight and company material
  • completing necessary forms and communications related to cargo handling
  • cleaning and servicing cabin interiors including cockpit and lavatories
  • draining lavatories
  • handling, assembling, removing, and installing passenger service cabin furnishings and supplies
  • assisting with loading, unloading, and racking filled and empty drums
  • de-icing aircraft
  • clearing aircraft windshields
  • pushing out or towing aircraft and providing guide man functions
  • connecting and removing ground power and start units
  • cleaning aircraft exteriors with specialized fluids
  • cleaning work areas, ramps, and facilities
  • assisting in monitoring facility security
  • performing routine automotive repairs and equipment servicing
  • complying with site security procedures
  • reporting security breaches or suspicious activities
