Job Requirements
- HS diploma, GED or equivalent
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends, holidays, and varying days off
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs
- Ability to work in all weather and environmental conditions including exposure to jet engine fumes, dust, and noise
- Ability to distinguish colors red, green, and yellow
- Must join the Transport Workers Union and pay union dues
- Must report to work regularly and on time
Job Qualifications

- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to work in high-noise environments
- Ability to understand and follow safety protocols and verbal commands
- Experience operating vehicles in crowded areas preferred but not required
- Knowledge of aviation safety procedures advantageous
Job Duties
- Load and unload aircraft of cargo weighing up to 70 lbs
- Push, pull, and position loaded containers weighing up to 3,200 lbs on rollers with or to aircraft
- Drive vehicles with gross weights of 3,000 to 80,000 lbs in congested airport areas
- Assist with aircraft push-out procedures including communication with cockpit via hand signals and voice commands
- Transport cargo between terminals and aircraft reading off-load sheets to determine cargo destination
- Handle baggage, mail, and company materials including exporting at designated docks
- Report security breaches and ensure compliance with site security procedures
