Job Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age
- hold a high school diploma, GED or equivalent
- possess a valid driver’s license
- ability to work rotating shifts including weekends, holidays, and days off
- ability to lift and handle bags weighing up to 70 lbs
- ability to understand and respond to verbal commands
- ability to work in high noise and inclement weather environments
- ability to successfully communicate with others
- read, write and speak fluent English
- comply with Transport Workers Union collective bargaining agreement requirements

- familiarity with safety and security protocols in an airport setting
Job Duties
- Load and unload cargo weighing up to 70 lbs in and out of aircraft
- push, pull, and position loaded containers weighing up to 3,200 lbs on rollers with/to aircraft
- drive vehicles weighing 3,000 to 80,000 lbs in congested airport areas
- engage in push-out of aircraft driving an 80,000 lb vehicle or assist by guiding driver
- transport cargo between terminals and aircraft
- communicate ground to cockpit signals and voice commands
- complete necessary forms and messages related to cargo duty
- perform de-icing and clearing of aircraft windshields
- clean aircraft exterior and work areas
- perform or assist with routine equipment maintenance and repairs
- lift and connect electric cables to/from aircraft
- confront and report unauthorized personnel
- report to work regularly and timely
