Job Requirements
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent
- At least 18 years of age if driving cargo handling equipment
- Valid driver’s license and Port Authority or Airport Authority permit if applicable
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs
- Ability to handle the stress of a fast-paced eight-hour shift
- Willingness to comply with site security procedures
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent
- Ability to learn PC skills and apply knowledge
- Strong communication skills including ability to read, write, speak and understand English fluently
- Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends, holidays and days off
- Experience in customer service or cargo handling is a plus
Job Duties
- Drive all cargo handling equipment
- Retrieve import and deliver export documents to and from aircraft
- Prepare and enter cargo shipment and flight documents into computer systems
- Interface with U.S. Customs for compliance
- Solicit orders and communicate with customers to complete sales
- Quote prices and prepare sales contracts
- Move cargo weighing up to 70 lbs
