Job Requirements
- high school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- must be at least 18 years of age if position requires driving cargo handling equipment
- must have a valid driver’s license and Port Authority or Airport Authority permit to use ramp side service roads if applicable
- ability to lift up to 70 lbs
- ability to handle the stress of a fast-paced eight-hour shift
- compliance with site security procedures
- willingness to work rotating shifts including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- ability to learn PC skills and apply knowledge
- ability to read, write, fluently speak and understand the English language
- ability to work rotating shifts including weekends, holidays, and days off
- excellent customer communication and data entry skills
- physical ability to handle cargo up to 70 lbs
Job Duties
- drive all cargo handling equipment
- retrieve import and deliver export documents to and from aircraft
- prepare flight documents
- interface with U.S. Customs
- prepare all import and export documentation
- accept and distribute cargo in compliance with air carrier and DOT regulations
- comply with WFS site security procedures and report any security breaches or suspicious activities
