Job Requirements
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent
- Minimum age of 18 years if driving cargo handling equipment
- Valid driver's license
- Port Authority or Airport Authority permit for ramp side service roads if applicable
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs
- Ability to handle fast-paced eight-hour shifts
- Willingness to work rotating shifts including weekends and holidays
- Compliance with WFS site security protocols
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent
- Ability to learn and apply PC skills
- Fluent in reading, writing, speaking and understanding English
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends, holidays, and days off
- Experience with cargo handling or logistics is a plus but not required
- Valid driver's license and permits if required for ramp access
Job Duties
- Perform computer data entry
- Prepare all flight documents
- Interface with U.S. Customs
- Prepare import and export documentation
- Accept and distribute cargo per air carrier and DOT regulations
- Compile customer lists for sales leads
- Solicit orders and communicate with customers to complete sales
- Quote prices and prepare sales contracts
- Estimate delivery dates based on company schedules
- Move cargo weighing up to 70 lbs
- Comply with site security procedures
- Report security breaches and suspicious activities
- Operate cargo handling equipment
- Retrieve import/export documents to/from aircraft
- Report to work regularly and punctually
