Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Healthcare experience preferred
- Ability to perform physical work including standing stooping bending and walking for eight-hour shift
- Ability to exert 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally and 10 to 25 pounds frequently
- Ability to follow standard safety precautions and use personal protective equipment
- Availability to work evening shifts and weekends

- Physically able to perform cleaning duties
- Knowledge of chemical handling and use
Job Duties
- Perform housekeeping duties in patient and public areas to ensure a clean attractive and safe environment
- Empty clean and reline waste baskets
- Perform daily cleaning high low dusting mopping sweeping spot cleaning polishing and vacuuming
- Wipe tabletops phones TV cords and doorknobs
- Replenish room supplies such as toilet paper paper towels seat covers and hand soap
- Transport trash from utility rooms and collection spots to pick up points
- Assist in cleaning emergency situations that are observed or requested
- Maintain arrangement of furniture in patient rooms offices and lounges
- Understand the proper use of chemicals dilution usage and measuring
- Participate in and attend all in-services become familiar with the employee handbook and understand policies and procedures
- Accept and carry out assignments provide coverage for laundry caregivers and perform other tasks as assigned
