Job Requirements
- currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a program in agriculture agribusiness communications marketing education event management or a related field
- willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- ability to work outdoors and perform light physical tasks must be able to lift 25 lbs
- strong communication skills
- ability to work independently and in a team
- adaptability and eagerness to learn
- basic familiarity with social media marketing is a plus
Job Qualifications
- currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a program in agriculture agribusiness communications marketing education event management or a related field

- ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- interest in agriculture events or community engagement
- willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- ability to work outdoors and perform light physical tasks must be able to lift 25 lbs
- flexibility and a sense of humor a must
- experience in customer service events or agricultural programs preferred
- familiarity with social media platforms and basic marketing tools preferred
- interest in or knowledge of agriculture livestock or regional farming communities preferred
Job Duties
- assist with the setup execution and breakdown of events
- support daily operations of agricultural facilities exhibits and program areas
- interact with exhibitors vendors and guests to provide a welcoming and positive experience
- assist with exhibitor registration and event logistics
- support hands-on agricultural education programs demonstrations and youth activities e g 4-h ffa
- help develop and research ideas for educational programming
- assist with marketing efforts including social media and on-site promotions
- complete administrative tasks such as scheduling data entry and inventory tracking
- take on a variety of responsibilities that contribute to the success of the department
