Job Requirements
- Must be able to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to carry 70 pound suitcase and perform repeated physical tasks
- Must pass background investigation with fingerprint criminal check
- Must have valid driver license
- Must have authorization to work in the U.S.
- Ability to maintain a good-natured and cooperative attitude
- Must follow TDA and airline policies and procedures
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver license
- Authorization to work in the U.S.
- Ability to pass a fingerprint-based criminal records check according to TSA regulations
- Demonstrated reliability and responsibility in previous employment
- Ability to maintain composure and handle stressful situations professionally
- Good interpersonal and cooperative attitude
Job Duties
- Transport baggage to the bag room or baggage belt when necessary
- Utilize carts to move baggage during equipment downtime or overcapacity
- Follow airport and airline policies and procedures strictly
- Maintain a cooperative and pleasant attitude with colleagues and passengers
- Demonstrate reliability and responsibility in completing job duties
- Manage physical tasks such as lifting and carrying baggage up to 70 pounds
- Operate effectively in a high-stress, variable schedule work environment
