Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in air freight or logistics coordination preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
- Not eligible for visa sponsorship for this role
Job Qualifications
- Strong understanding of air export regulations and documentation preferred
- Prior customer service experience preferred
- Proactive and solution-oriented mindset with a can-do attitude
- Ability to resolve issues related to product movement and communicate proactively with customers
- Strong attention to detail and excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel
- Highly desirable experience using the CargoWise system
- Enthusiasm for building deep and lasting connections with customers
Job Duties
- Provide exceptional customer service, surpassing expectations and promptly resolving incidents
- Cultivate enduring customer relationships, understanding their needs and serving as their advocate
- Work with subject matter experts to prepare customized solutions to keep cargo moving despite transport exceptions
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to address customer concerns effectively
- Master innovative products and services, offering demonstrations and training as needed
- Identify opportunities for account growth and collaborate with sales for rate renewals and upselling
- Promote and leverage DHLs digital suite to enhance customer satisfaction
- Assist in driving system integration of e-solutions between clients and DHL
- Take ownership of transport orders, ensuring timely pickup, and optimizing booking processes
- Prepare, control, and distribute necessary export documents, ensuring compliance
- Collaborate with counterparts to validate and finalize documents
- Assign tasks to the GSC support functions and monitor performance
- Take full ownership of files and their financial performance
- Continuously drive GP maximization by finding cost-efficient transportation solutions and minimizing revenue leakage
