Job Requirements
- 230-pound weight limit dressed in flight suit and boots
- upload pilot license and FAA medical certificate
- maintain currency on required flight and regulatory training
- ability to operate under federal aviation regulations
- physical fitness to perform duties
- excellent communication skills
- adaptability to varied operational conditions
Job Qualifications
- 2000 hours total flight time
- 1500 hours helicopter time
- 1000 hours helicopter pilot in command
- 500 hours turbine experience
- 100 hours night unaided or 50 hours unaided with 100 hours aided
- previous helicopter air ambulance experience preferred
- rotorcraft-helicopter commercial certificate
- rotorcraft-helicopter instrument rating
- high school diploma or equivalent
Job Duties
- ensure operations involving company aircraft comply with federal aviation regulations and company manuals
- operate aircraft safely and efficiently with emphasis on rotorcraft flight manual compliance
- monitor weather conditions and forecast changes
- conduct preflight inspections of the aircraft prior to shifts and flights, documenting discrepancies
- notify maintenance of any aircraft issues and corrective actions
- report to shifts rested and prepared for duty
- stay current on weather updates and forecast changes
