Job Requirements

  • Current California state license
  • Certification in BLS, ACLS, PALS, DEA, and controlled substances training
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in emergency medicine or urgent care preferred
  • New graduates will be considered
  • Ability to manage solo provider coverage
  • Willingness to be cross credentialed at multiple locations

Job Qualifications

  • Current national certification as physician assistant or nurse practitioner
  • Valid California state license
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in emergency medicine or urgent care preferred
  • Proficient in BLS, ACLS, PALS, DEA, and controlled substance management
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to serving diverse patient populations

Job Duties

  • Provide urgent care services to patients presenting with a variety of acute medical conditions
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure quality patient care
  • Maintain current national certifications including BLS, ACLS, PALS, DEA, and controlled substance training
  • Cross-credentialed to provide coverage across multiple Golden Valley Health Center locations
  • Manage solo provider coverage during shifts
  • Engage in continuing education and professional development activities
  • Participate in community outreach and health promotion initiatives
