Vituity prides itself on fostering a "culture of brilliance," emphasizing teamwork, shared purpose, and community impact. It offers healthcare professionals the flexibility to take their jobs with them should they need to relocate, supporting continuity and career growth.
This opportunity is specifically located in Valhalla, New York, at the Westchester Medical Center, a prominent Level I Trauma Center, STEMI Receiving Center, and Comprehensive Stroke Center. The facility includes a 650-bed hospital and a 43-bed Emergency Department that handles an annual volume of 33,000 patients, averaging around 100 patients per day. The hospital supports its emergency department with a full range of sub-specialties available for consultation and backup, ensuring comprehensive care for patients.
We are seeking Emergency Medicine Advanced Providers, including physician assistants and nurse practitioners, to join the dedicated emergency team. These professionals play a vital role in delivering high-quality medical care in a fast-paced emergency setting. The position requires current national certification and DEA registration, with a New York state license considered a plus. This role is part of a team-oriented environment that prioritizes collaboration and mutual support, reflecting Vituity’s philosophy of recognizing and appreciating the contributions of every member.
The community of Valhalla offers an ideal lifestyle blend of serene natural beauty and close proximity to major urban centers like New York City. Known for its scenic attractions such as the Kensico Dam Plaza and the Rockefeller State Park Preserve, Valhalla provides an enriching living experience with excellent schools, a close-knit community, and access to convenient commuter transportation. The seasonal climate enhances opportunities for outdoor and family activities throughout the year.
Compensation for this role is competitive, offering $60 per hour, and is supported by a comprehensive benefits package covering health, dental, vision, retirement savings with matching contributions, and generous paid time off that increases with tenure. Professionals are also supported through professional expense reimbursements, medical education allowances, and wellness programs designed to promote well-being and career development.
Vituity champions diversity and inclusion, complying with all federal, state, and local laws related to equal opportunity employment. It maintains a supportive and purpose-driven culture aimed at improving the lives of patients and staff alike. Whether you are seeking to make a difference clinically or corporately, Vituity promises a collaborative environment that fosters growth and meaningful impact.
