Job Requirements
- Active physician assistant or nurse practitioner license
- National certification and DEA registration
- Emergency department or urgent care experience preferred
- New graduates with strong paramedic/EMT experience considered
- Current CA state license a plus
- Ability to work flexible shifts and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to patient-centered care
Job Qualifications
- Physician assistant or nurse practitioner licensure
- Current national certification
- DEA registration
- Preferably licensed in California
- Experience in emergency department or urgent care settings preferred
- Strong clinical skills in emergency medicine
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Job Duties
- Provide advanced emergency medical care to patients in the emergency department
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated patient care
- Assess, diagnose, and manage acute medical conditions
- Perform procedures pertinent to emergency medicine
- Participate in patient education and discharge planning
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records
- Adhere to protocols and guidelines to ensure patient safety and quality care
