Managed Mobile is currently offering an exciting career advancement opportunity for Mobile Technicians who are eager to progress to the role of Advanced Diesel Technician. The position available is that of a Preventative Maintenance (PM) Technician, a critical role that involves day-to-day responsibility for conducting preventative maintenance tasks on commercial fleet vehicles. As a PM Technician, the individual plays an essential role in maintaining the safety, compliance, and reliability of fleet units, ensuring they meet all safety and operational standards established by Managed Mobile. This is a dynamic role that requires strong client-facing skills since it involves frequent interaction with diverse groups of individuals including clients, drivers, and team members.
The Preventative Maintenance Technician is expected to execute scheduled maintenance tasks efficiently and safely within the planned timeframe, thus directly contributing to fleet uptime and client satisfaction. The PM Technician carries out Preventative Maintenance inspections labeled as A-PM and B-PM, performs Department of Transportation (DOT) inspections, and conducts in-depth repair work on various vehicles, including Class 8 tractors and trailers, although no overhauls are involved. The role also requires performing PMs on trailers and conducting minor repairs when necessary. Additionally, the technician will work on a range of diesel engines from Class 6 through Class 8, employing computer diagnostics to accurately assess and rectify issues.

Job Requirements
- ability to have a flex schedule daily start times
- availability to work Monday through Friday
- ability to pass drug and background checks
- ability to pass MVR with a valid driver's license and good driving background
Job Qualifications
- 5+ years of mobile technician experience
- 5+ years of diesel repair experience
- 5+ years of DOT inspections experience
- knowledge of CVSA out of service criteria
- ability to work in extreme weather conditions
- welding experience
- trailer repair work experience
- experience with commercial class 6-8 diesel engine work
Job Duties
- perform A-PM's and B-PM's
- perform DOT inspections
- carry out in-depth repair work on tractors and trailers class 8, no overhauls
- perform PMs on trailers and limited minor repair work
