Job Description

Managed Mobile, Inc. is the market leader for commercial fleet maintenance in California, Texas, and Nevada. As a well-established company specializing in commercial fleet maintenance services, Managed Mobile is dedicated to developing great people, delivering an exceptional client experience, and building a strong company foundation. With a commitment to excellence and safety, the company serves a diverse range of clients, maintaining their commercial fleets to ensure safety, reliability, and compliance with regulations. Managed Mobile’s core focus is on fostering career growth and providing opportunities for employees to enhance their skills and advance into higher roles, such as transitioning from Mobile Technicians to Advanced Diesel Technicians.

We have an excellent opportunity for motivated and skilled Mobile Technicians who are looking for a career advancement pathway with Managed Mobile. This full-time position offers a stable work schedule with 8- to 12-hour shifts, typically about 50 hours weekly, with a competitive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, health insurance, 401k with company match, and paid vacation and sick leave.

The Preventative Maintenance (PM) Technician plays a critical role by performing day-to-day preventative maintenance tasks on a variety of commercial vehicles, mainly including Class 6-8 diesel engines. The PM Technician’s responsibility is to execute assigned maintenance schedules efficiently, safely, and timely while ensuring all serviced units remain safe, compliant, and reliable to meet client needs. This position is highly client-facing, requiring strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with a diverse group of individuals, including clients and team members.

In this role, PM Technicians perform A-PMs and B-PMs, BIT and DOT inspections, trailer preventative maintenance, and limited minor repair work as needed. The position requires hands-on work with diesel engines and the use of computer diagnostics to identify and resolve maintenance issues. Employees must be adaptable to work under extreme weather conditions and able to maintain flexibility in scheduling with daily varied start times during the standard Monday through Friday workweek.

Managed Mobile values safety and regulatory compliance, so the PM Technician is expected to have a solid understanding of CVSA out-of-service criteria and be capable of conducting thorough inspections to ensure the highest standards of vehicle safety. Applicants must be able to pass pre-employment screenings, including drug and background checks, as well as provide a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

This opportunity also offers additional earning potential and skill development for those who possess or are willing to gain experience in trailer repair, welding, and advanced commercial diesel engine work. Managed Mobile is an equal opportunity employer, committed to fostering a workplace free of discrimination and harassment, and values diversity in all of its forms. This position presents an excellent career growth opportunity within a leading commercial fleet maintenance company for dedicated and hardworking Mobile Technicians.
