Advanced-Level Phlebotomist / Donor Care Technician 2, Hoxworth Blood Center

The University of Cincinnati, Hoxworth Blood Center (HBC) is recruiting for several Advanced Level Phlebotomist/Donor Care Technicians, Level 2 positions. FULL & PART TIME POSITIONS ARE AVAILABLE (24-40 hours per week). The intended candidate(s) will register and screen prospective blood donors and process blood donors on Mobile Units and/or at Neighborhood Donor Centers. Candidates must have at least one year of recent phlebotomy experience. Varying shifts are available, including occasional holiday and rotating weekend shifts. This position requires friendly, patient, reliable individuals responsible for taking vital signs, performing venipuncture, and providing post-donation care for volunteer blood donors. Experience in customer service and phlebotomy is ideal; excellent communication skills, a focus on quality, and the ability to work a flexible schedule are essential.
