The hiring establishment is a well-regarded healthcare facility specializing in subacute rehabilitation services. Known for its commitment to patient care and comfort, this facility provides a comprehensive environment where residents receive personalized attention and support. Operating with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals and support staff, the organization fosters a compassionate and professional atmosphere that prioritizes the well-being and satisfaction of all its residents and their families. This facility prides itself on maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and resident engagement to ensure that everyone admitted receives the best possible care and experience.
The role available is that of an Admissions Concierge, a pivotal position within the facility focused on welcoming new residents and their families. This full-time role, scheduled Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, offers an hourly rate between $16 and $18, depending on experience. The Admissions Concierge serves as the first point of contact for new admissions, providing orientation and assurance through thoughtful communication and personalized tours. Daily rounds are a key responsibility, enabling the concierge to address resident concerns promptly and maintain an up-to-date log of issues and resolutions. The role also involves inspecting subacute rehabilitation rooms to ensure they are impeccably cleaned, maintained, and prepared for new residents with fresh bedding.
In addition to operational duties, the Admissions Concierge facilitates the completion of patient/resident expectation questionnaires which are critical for tailoring the care plans and ensuring residents' needs and preferences are fully met from the start. The concierge also acts as a liaison between residents, families, and facility staff, ensuring smooth admittance and transition into the facility. The position demands a high level of professionalism, punctuality, reliability, and independent and collaborative work ability. Strong customer service skills, empathy, and attention to detail are essential for success in this role, highlighting the organization's commitment to compassionate resident care and attentive service.
