Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Minimum two years office administration experience, preferably in medical setting
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong organizational and time-management capabilities
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and privacy of patient information
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Job Duties

  • Register patients accurately and completely upon arrival
  • Gather and enter patient information from patients and physician offices
  • Verify patient benefits for pre-registration and non pre-registered patients
  • Obtain signatures on required forms to ensure compliance
  • Collect co-payments, deductibles, and co-insurance at time of service
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with hospital policies
  • Provide excellent customer service and assist patients with registration questions
