Job Description
The College of Arts and Letters at San Diego State University is seeking a highly organized and service-oriented Administrative Support Coordinator II to join the Dean's Office. This position plays a vital role in supporting the administrative operations and front-line communications of the college.
Job Requirements
- Entry to this classification requires a fully functional knowledge of and skill in standard office procedures and practices
- thorough knowledge of English grammar, spelling, and punctuation
- ability to use and quickly learn office support technology systems
- high school program, technical/vocational program, or equivalent combined with related office work experience
- working knowledge of budget policies and procedures
- comprehensive knowledge of the university infrastructure, policies, and procedures
- expertise in office software packages and technology
- proficiency in Microsoft Office
- experience coordinating administrative support functions for a group
- experience with data entry and updating database records
- experience with purchase requisitions
- experience with campus PCC and expense reporting
- budget experience.
