Job Requirements
- Reliable transportation
- current driver's license and auto liability insurance
- ability to work in an office environment with occasional schedule flexibility as needed
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma required
- college coursework preferred
- previous office or administrative experience preferred
- healthcare or hospice/home health experience is a plus
- knowledge of medical terminology preferred
- strong computer, communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
- excellent interpersonal and customer service abilities
- ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities
Job Duties
- Answer incoming calls professionally and assist callers as needed
- serve as the front desk receptionist and greet all office visitors
- support office operations by ordering supplies and coordinating vendor services
- process incoming and outgoing mail, deliveries, and shipments
- coordinate travel arrangements including hotel, rental car, and meal reservations
- maintain office contact lists, phone directories, and resource information
- assist with meetings, special events, conferences, and office projects
- provide clerical and administrative support to leadership and the Marketing Department
- order bereavement flowers/plants and assist with special acknowledgements
- perform data entry and provide general computer support
- maintain confidentiality while communicating effectively with patients, families, staff, physicians, and community partners
- represent the agency with professionalism, compassion, and a positive attitude
