Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • One year of administrative experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Documented experience answering a multi-line phone system
  • Documented experience in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to work full-time Monday through Friday
  • Willingness to work beyond normal hours to meet business needs

Job Duties

  • Providing receptionist duties to the Central Region Office and administrative support for the Assistant Region Director
  • Answering a multi-line phone system
  • greeting visitors
  • composing and typing correspondence
  • filing maintenance reports
  • processing mail
  • preparing for audits and inspections
  • Assisting other managers as needed
  • Utilizing Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Delivering quality customer service to office staff, state employees, executive management, offenders' family members, and the general public
  • Maintaining upkeep and maintenance of the region's state vehicles with a valid Driver's License
