This agency focuses on maintaining a welcoming and efficient office environment, catering to diverse cultural backgrounds and needs. As an established entity, the agency values integrity, professionalism, and respect among its staff, creating a collaborative and supportive workplace.

The position available is for a part-time Administrative Assistant/Receptionist, a vital role that acts as the first point of contact for visitors and callers. This position requires an individual who can warmly welcome guests, efficiently handle communications, and perform essential administrative duties. The role operates Monday through Friday from 5 pm to 9 pm, totaling 20 hours per week. The hourly wage is competitive at $21 per hour.

This role demands multitasking capabilities as the individual will manage reception duties, including greeting visitors, answering multi-line phone systems, and ensuring office security by monitoring access. Beyond reception, the assistant will support clerical functions such as copying, faxing, filing, mailing, data entry, and scheduling meetings both in-person and virtually. Effective communication skills are critical as the role involves timely notification to staff about guest arrivals and coordination of meeting logistics.

The ideal candidate will be familiar with office technologies, including electronic health records, Microsoft Office applications, and office equipment like printers and scanners. Strong telephone etiquette, customer service skills, and a professional demeanor are essential. The agency emphasizes sensitivity and respect towards individuals from various social identities, requiring the assistant to embody these values in their daily interactions.

Additionally, this role has unique preferences such as lived experience with mental health and bilingual capabilities in Spanish, enhancing the agency's connection with the community it serves. The work environment is a typical office setting with no exposure to adverse conditions, but requires some physical activity such as sitting for extended periods, light lifting, and navigating the office space.

The agency strictly requires the assistant to work on-site, ensuring full engagement with the team and operations, with no remote work options. This commitment underlines the importance of immediate responsiveness and presence in maintaining office harmony and guest satisfaction.

Overall, this role offers a dynamic, supportive work environment for individuals seeking a part-time position with meaningful community interaction, administrative responsibilities, and an opportunity to contribute positively to the agency's mission.
