We are currently seeking a dependable, full-time Administrative Assistant - Receptionist to join our dedicated team. This in-office position offers a stable work schedule, Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, in our Champaign office. The role is essential in ensuring the smooth and efficient daily operations of our administrative functions. As the first point of contact for Fred's Plumbing & Heating, the Administrative Assistant - Receptionist will play a crucial role in managing communications and customer interactions with professionalism and a positive attitude.
In this role, you will answer incoming phone calls, manage customer service inquiries, and assist clients with scheduling service appointments. You will handle customer payments made by cash, check, or card and issue receipts while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail. Your responsibilities will also include coordinating service call dispatches with technicians, assisting with invoicing and filing, and providing basic bookkeeping support to maintain organized records. This position requires someone who is reliable, detail-oriented, and able to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
