Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum of 2 years administrative experience
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • ability to work under general direction
  • ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously
  • experience working in a public sector or fire department environment preferred

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous administrative experience preferably in a public safety or municipal setting
  • strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • proficiency with office software and data management systems
  • ability to manage confidential information with discretion
  • experience coordinating public programs or community outreach

Job Duties

  • Provide varied administrative support duties and receptionist services
  • coordinate public fire and safety education programs
  • manage communication and correspondence for the Fire Department
  • assist with scheduling and event planning
  • maintain records and data entry related to fire safety initiatives
  • support the Fire Chief and Assistant Fire Chief with logistical tasks
  • facilitate community outreach and engagement activities
