Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous administrative or secretarial experience
- proficiency in computer applications including data entry
- ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- capability to handle sensitive and confidential information
- ability to stand or sit for extended periods
- physical ability to lift up to 20 lbs
- willingness to follow established procedures and policies
- ability to work under the direction of a supervisor
- commitment to public service

Job Duties
- Greet program participants and visitors in a pleasant and courteous manner and act as receptionist
- screen incoming telephone calls, answer callers' questions, take messages, and/or redirect calls
- open, sort, and distribute mail
- file, index, and process office records, legal documents, and related materials
- prepare and type requests for the purchase of supplies
- enter data in the computer system
- compose correspondence in accordance with established procedures
- prepare and handle correspondence of a sensitive and confidential nature
- type correspondence, forms, labels, and miscellaneous documents
- maintain logs and other records
- occasionally observe program participants' urine drug tests
- perform related duties as assigned
