Job Requirements
- a high school diploma
- at least three years of related administrative support experience
- ability to learn agency functions, laws, rules, and regulations
- experience in planning and organizing meetings and events
- ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally
- proficiency in Microsoft Office
- willingness to complete a non-essential position declaration
- ability to report to work during emergency situations

- ability to learn and understand agency functions, laws, rules, and regulations
- some experience in planning and organizing meetings and events
- effective written and verbal communication skills
- proficiency in Microsoft Office products
Job Duties
- serve as the agency's receptionist and first contact for all visitors
- answer the agency's main telephone line and communicate with callers professionally and courteously
- check Outlook conference room calendars daily and assist with meeting and conference preparations
- work with agency staff to plan meeting logistics
- update distribution lists for the Commission, Committees, and other constituent groups
- assist with purchasing by completing finance-related forms such as purchase requisitions and invoice approvals
- serve as the P-card holder for the Office of the President if needed
- handle financial transactions using SC Pro for the Office of the President and Executive Director
- maintain office records and assist with archiving agency files according to retention rules and regulations
- coordinate digitization projects including vendor research and inventory creation for records
- finalize reports for submission to the state library after each Commission meeting
- collect and distribute mail daily, ensuring all mail is date stamped
- provide additional administrative support as necessary
