Job Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- demonstrate basic computer knowledge and ability with an aptitude to learn company applications
- possess good organizational and verbal/written communication skills
- have a positive attitude about working with long-term care residents and elderly
- ability to read, write, speak and understand English
- pass a criminal background and fingerprint check
- maintain a current food handlers card
- ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, holidays and overtime
- ability to creatively problem-solve in resident care
- maintain a clean, neat, comfortable, safe environment for residents, staff and visitors
- meet all mandatory health requirements by state regulations
- ability to work independently with minimum supervision
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Welcome visitors in person or on the telephone
- interact joyfully with residents, staff, and visitors
- provide information supporting marketing and sales
- maintain employee and department directories
- operate phone system to connect calls
- maintain telecommunication system per manufacturer's instructions
- keep reception area safe and clean
- perform clerical work including data entry, mail sorting, filing
- document and communicate actions and irregularities
- check bathrooms and clean lobby and theatre daily
- enforce security procedures
- check and distribute faxes
- conduct preliminary screening of employment applicants
- participate in meetings and trainings
- perform other duties as assigned
