Job Duties

  • Answer phones, emails and in person customers that visit the office
  • direct customers to appropriate agents
  • disseminate information about upcoming events and programs
  • communicate policies and procedures with staff
  • assist 4-H members, volunteers, and parents with registration and project materials
  • track and manage 4-H enrollments
  • sort, screen, and distribute mail
  • maintain county website and social media platforms
  • resolve routine administrative problems and inquiries
  • prepare finance documentation for payments
  • track and reconcile departmental procurement card spending
  • perform filing, typing, copying, binding, and scanning tasks
  • order, stock, and distribute office supplies
  • maintain files, records, and documents
  • enter data and draft correspondence
  • arrange meetings, conferences, and travel
  • assist staff in program preparation
  • maintain Civil Rights files and contact reporting
  • maintain office hours and support agents in the field
