The role of Industrial Machine Adjuster, located in Elizabeth, NJ, offers a starting pay rate between $22 and $26.65 per hour, embodying a critical supervisory position within the manufacturing environment. The Industrial Machine Adjuster acts as the first line supervisor over Machine Operators (Collator Tenders) and Utility persons, steering daily operations on assigned lines to meet production schedules and quality standards efficiently. Responsibilities include assigning tasks, monitoring machine performance, sampling products to inspect for quality control, and troubleshooting issues to reduce waste and defects. The position also involves facilitating machine changeovers, performing machine maintenance and repairs, and enforcing strict adherence to safety procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment and workplace safety protocols.
