Job Requirements

  • Associate's degree in culinary arts or related field
  • Five years of experience as a chef or executive chef
  • Food Service Manager's License
  • Ability to teach all classes in person
  • Access to personal technology for online teaching
  • Ability to work flexible hours including days, evenings, and weekends
  • Willingness to undergo pre-employment background check

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of an associate's degree in culinary arts or a related field
  • At least five years of industry experience as a chef or executive chef
  • Valid Food Service Manager's License
  • Experience with online or virtual teaching preferred
  • Ability to teach in multicultural and diverse learning environment
  • Proficient with educational technology for remote instruction

Job Duties

  • Plan and instruct culinary courses in classroom and lab settings
  • Conduct courses in various delivery modes including face-to-face, online, hybrid, and blended formats
  • Evaluate student performance and provide feedback
  • Submit timely and accurate instructional paperwork
  • Teach all classes in person
  • Adapt teaching methods to support diverse learning abilities
  • Maintain compliance with college policies and procedures
