Job Description

In-Shape Health Club is a reputable fitness center committed to fostering healthy lifestyles through an extensive array of physical activities and wellness programs. Renowned for its quality facilities and a member-centric philosophy, In-Shape Health Club creates engaging environments where individuals of all ages can pursue their fitness goals while feeling part of a supportive and motivating community. The club offers a variety of amenities including racquet sports such as tennis and pickleball, swimming pools catered with structured swim lesson programs, and many group activities intended to enhance both physical fitness and social well-being. With a focus on promoting health, wellness, and community, In-Shape Health Club stands as a leader in providing high-caliber fitness experiences with an emphasis on personalized member engagement and safety.

The Activities Coordinator at In-Shape Health Club is a critical player in enhancing overall member engagement and satisfaction by overseeing the planning, organizing, and directing of all club activities. This full-time role requires a dynamic and proactive individual who will manage existing programs including tennis, swim, and pickleball, while innovating new activities to broaden the club’s offerings. The coordinator will regularly monitor program effectiveness and profitability, ensuring alignment with budget targets and member engagement objectives. Additionally, this role involves analyzing member feedback and emerging trends to tailor activities that meet the evolving needs of diverse club members, which helps improve retention rates and build long-term loyalty.

Beyond program management, the Activities Coordinator is responsible for marketing and event planning efforts to promote club activities and special events, including supervising children’s summer programs and party rentals, as well as coordinating corporate events. Collaboration with vendors and local community entities is another essential aspect of the role, enabling the club to maintain dynamic programming and foster strong community connections. Safety remains a top priority, with the coordinator ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations and maintaining safety certifications such as CPR, BLS/AED, and First Aid. This leadership position embodies the club’s core values of Deliver, Impact, and Inspire, working alongside the team to elevate the member experience.

Operating within a casual yet energetic work environment, the Activities Coordinator must be physically active, often standing, walking, and occasionally lifting weights up to 50 pounds. In-Shape Health Club supports its employees through benefits like free club membership, product discounts, professional growth opportunities, and a culture that values innovation and safety. Overall, this position is perfect for an enthusiastic, organized individual with a genuine passion for fitness, community engagement, and event coordination who is ready to contribute to an evolving and member-focused fitness club.
