The role of Vibrant Living Assistant at Brightview Senior Living is a uniquely important position focused on fostering an active lifestyle for residents. Sometimes known in other organizations as an Activities Assistant, Brightview elevates this role by recognizing the significant influence it has on residents' happiness and well-being. As a Vibrant Living Assistant, you will develop and implement diverse programming that engages residents spiritually, physically, intellectually, culturally, and emotionally. This means planning and executing activities such as games, music sessions, painting classes, and other enriching events tailored to the interests and abilities of the community.
Your responsibilities will also include promoting upcoming events using social media, newsletters, and direct communication to ensure maximum participation and enthusiasm. This position offers an opportunity to be hands-on, participating alongside residents in various activities to build relationships and create a fun atmosphere. For those over the age of 21, occasional use of a company vehicle is part of the role to transport residents to off-site events, enhancing their experience beyond the community grounds.
The position is hourly with a salary range between $19.25 and $22.25, excluding bonuses and additional benefits, which are comprehensive and competitive in the industry. Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to engage seniors in a variety of activities
- creativity and enthusiasm for activity planning
- active driver’s license
- ability to occasionally drive company vehicle
- willingness to work flexible hours
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- get to know the residents of brightview to help with planning and implementation of spiritual, physical, intellectual, cultural and emotional programming that engages and fulfills residents
- promote and communicate upcoming community events and activities
- participate in activities such as games, painting, singing, and music to organize and run events
- utilize social media, email, and newsletters to showcase daily activities
- occasionally drive the company vehicle to transport residents to and from events (for those 21 or over)
- help set up and break down events and activities
