Job Description

Brightview Senior Living is a leading provider of senior living communities dedicated to delivering exceptional care and enriching the lives of older adults. Known for fostering vibrant and supportive environments, Brightview offers a variety of living options including independent living, assisted living, memory care, and skilled nursing. Among their many specialties, Brightview is recognized for its commitment to dementia and cognitive care through dedicated communities such as the Wellspring Village. This community is designed to provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging atmosphere where residents with dementia and other cognitive needs can thrive. The team at Brightview believes that a high quality of life is achieved through compassionate care, innovative programming, and a deep respect for each individual's unique story and abilities.

Brightview Senior Living is currently seeking a Vibrant Living Assistant to join their Wellspring Village team. This role is sometimes known by other organizations as an Activities Assistant, but Brightview considers it much more special, giving it the title Vibrant Living Assistant to better reflect its importance. The Vibrant Living Assistant plays a critical role in enhancing residents' daily experiences by planning and facilitating a wide variety of spiritual, physical, intellectual, cultural, and emotional programs aimed at improving engagement and fulfillment. The assistant is encouraged to be creative and bring their personal talents—such as singing, dancing, painting, poetry, or trivia expertise—to the forefront to enrich the lives of residents. Participation in games, painting sessions, singing, music events, and other group activities is a core part of the daily routine.

The Vibrant Living Assistant also helps encourage residents to actively join activities and leverages tools like social media, email, and newsletters to showcase the joyful moments happening every day. This position requires patience, genuine interest in building connections, and a positive, helping attitude. The salary ranges from $18.00 to $20.75 per hour, reflecting factors including experience, qualifications, certifications, location, and community size. Additionally, Brightview offers exceptional benefits including health, vision, and dental insurance, retirement plans, tuition reimbursement, and employee assistance programs.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about working with seniors, especially those with cognitive care needs. Brightview provides a respectful, inclusive, and dynamic workplace that values diversity and encourages professional growth and development. The company fosters an environment where every employee plays a vital role in uplifting the community and making meaningful impacts in residents' lives. If you are enthusiastic about activities programming, enjoy connecting with people, and want to be part of a team dedicated to outstanding senior care, the Vibrant Living Assistant role at Brightview Senior Living offers a rewarding and inspiring career path.
