Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- One or more years experience in planning, coordinating, or leading activities and events preferred
- Ability to read, write and understand the English language
- Willingness and ability to participate in multifaceted wellness programs including theater, art, music, fitness, education, event planning and recreation
- Physical ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, crouch, bend, stoop, reach, grasp, push, pull and work continuously without sitting for extended periods
- Ability to lift or carry up to 20 pounds
- Available full time for Monday to Friday schedule with 1 rotating weekend a month
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience in planning, coordinating, or leading activities and events preferred
- Strong communication skills in English both written and verbal
- Ability to participate actively in diverse activity programs
- Knowledge of senior living community environments preferred
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented, resident-focused setting
Job Duties
- Assist in planning and coordinating resident activities as part of the FACETS program
- Participate in the execution of a variety of well-rounded activities including theater, art, music, fitness, education, event planning, and recreation
- Provide exceptional resident engagement with a friendly, courteous, and professional manner
- Model The Sterling Touch® etiquette in all interactions with residents and colleagues
- Support the Director of FACETS in maintaining community standards, processes, and philosophy
- Ensure activities meet the social, wellness, learning, legacy, and spiritual needs of residents
- Help enhance overall resident satisfaction through consistent and thoughtful service delivery
