With a strong commitment to maintaining the highest standards of care and compliance with federal, state, and local health regulations, Viva Senior Living fosters an atmosphere of dignity and community for its residents. The organization prides itself on its professional standards, collaborative work environment, and dedication to enriching the lives of seniors through engaging activities and attentive service.
The Live More Coordinator role at Viva Senior Living is pivotal in enhancing the quality of life for residents by planning, organizing, and implementing a variety of social and recreational activities designed to promote healthy lifestyles, social satisfaction, and a sense of belonging. This full-time position requires a compassionate, outgoing, and innovative individual who can engage residents in meaningful ways while upholding the facility's philosophies and Resident Bill of Rights. The coordinator works closely with residents, their families, and the care team to ensure activities meet diverse interests and abilities, including those confined to their rooms or in need of one-on-one attention. Responsibilities extend beyond event planning to include maintaining up-to-date records of community resources, assisting with resident outings, and providing supportive interaction during group events and social gatherings.
The Live More Coordinator must maintain compliance with all facility policies, demonstrate reliability by adhering to attendance standards, and be prepared to work in exigent circumstances such as emergencies and temporary staffing shortages. This role demands the ability to adapt activities creatively to the evolving needs of residents while maintaining a lively, inclusive, and engaging presence. Additionally, the coordinator plays an essential role in upholding resident morale and fostering positive social interactions that contribute to overall well-being. Candidates for this position should be capable of handling the physical and emotional demands involved, including moving and assisting residents and coping with potential stressors inherent in senior living care environments. Viva Senior Living offers an enriching career path for those passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors through compassionate care and spirited community involvement.
