Job Requirements
- Must be an active and committed Christian who supports the University’s mission
- High School Diploma or GED required
- One year experience in accounting or bookkeeping required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Proficiency in office equipment operation
- Exceptional time management and detail orientation
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Excellent customer service skills
- Agreement to University’s Employee Statement of Understanding
Job Qualifications

- Completion of college coursework or formal training in a business field preferred
- Minimum one year experience in accounting or bookkeeping required
- Experience in accounts payable preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Skilled in general office equipment operation
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional time management and detail orientation
- Excellent customer service skills
- Must agree to the University’s Employee Statement of Understanding
Job Duties
- Review invoices for accuracy and completeness
- Verify all addresses and Federal ID numbers of vendors
- Verify coding and review invoices and requisitions for approvals
- Issue and assemble checks and related paperwork for Controller signatures
- Perform clerical duties associated with accounts payable
- Post journals, ledgers, and other records
- Provide receptionist and clerical support including operating the University switchboard, managing voice menu and messaging updates, receiving and directing calls and visitors, handling mail and faxes, generating documentation and correspondence, data input, and related functions
