The Accounting Manager role at Pyramid Global Hospitality plays a central part in maintaining the financial integrity of the property. This full-time position offers a competitive salary range between $70,000 to $75,000, with precise compensation dependent on qualifications, experience, and location. The Accounting Manager is responsible for performing a variety of routine but crucial accounting duties that ensure the accurate reporting of revenues and costs, while facilitating timely payment of invoices and receipt of monies owed. Employing the Profit Sage platform and other tools, the manager executes daily accounting tasks such as income journaling, event check processing, direct billing, and making accounting adjustments. This role requires meticulous reconciliation of accounts, vendor invoice approval, handling credit card disputes and chargebacks, and preparation of daily bank deposits. In addition, the Accounting Manager ensures all audit standards and departmental responsibilities are met with full compliance, helping to maintain the property's financial health and foster guest satisfaction.

Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- minimum 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in hospitality
- proficiency with accounting platforms including Profit Sage
- strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- excellent verbal and written communication skills
- ability to manage multiple priorities
- commitment to guest satisfaction and company values
- ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field

Job Duties
- Complete daily accounting tasks including income journal using the Profit Sage platform
- process event checks
- manage direct billing
- perform accounting adjustments
- prepare daily bank deposits
- obtain approvals from department heads on invoices to be paid
- make proper accounting entries in ledger
- reconcile discrepancies with vendors
- prepare transmittal of invoices for payment by corporate accounting
- research and investigate all credit card disputes
- make proper adjustments and chargebacks as needed
- balance and prepare all credit card transmittals
- maintain files of all accounting documentation
- ensure all audits and departmental responsibilities are followed
- resolve guest challenges and take action to ensure 100% guest satisfaction
- ensure supervisors complete inventories and purchase supplies within budgeted guidelines
