Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- 3+ years of accounting experience in the hotel industry
- Experience working in accounting systems
- Thorough knowledge of U.S. GAAP (USALI)
- Strong analytical abilities high attention to details and excellent organizational skills required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Superb interpersonal supervisory and customer service skills
Job Qualifications

- 3+ years of accounting experience in the hotel industry
- Experience working in accounting systems
- Thorough knowledge of U.S. GAAP (USALI)

- Superb interpersonal supervisory and customer service skills
- Opera Cloud and Micros experience a plus
- NetSuite experience a plus
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
- Google Apps experience a plus
Job Duties
- Oversee daily accounting functions including general ledger maintenance accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Manage and train accounting department staff
- Ensure all critical operations have a backup process documented and in place
- Ensure accurate and timely month-end closing and financial reporting
- Maintain internal controls to protect assets ensure compliance with standard operating procedures and manage taxes permits and licenses are updated
- Create and distribute periodic key performance indicator reports to key personnel including labor analysis and budget analysis
- Oversee daily bank reconciliation including all credit card settlement reconciliations
- Prepare month-end reconciliations including cash reconciliations
- Certify all local and state taxes are filed and remitted timely
- Analyze current processes and utilize applications and resources to identify opportunities for efficiency
- Lead participate and contribute to other duties as requested
