This company's commitment to innovation and operational excellence has positioned it as a trusted partner for energy companies around the world.
The Upstream Chemicals division at Baker Hughes plays a crucial role in supporting oilfield operations by delivering high-quality chemical products and services tailored for upstream applications. The division focuses on helping customers optimize their production processes while ensuring environmental compliance and operational safety. As part of this team, you will engage with cutting-edge technologies and collaborate with experts across disciplines to provide superior service solutions.
The Account Manager role within the Upstream Chemicals segment is a critical position responsible for overseeing a team dedicated to delivering service and maintenance activities to customers on site or at their properties. This hands-on leadership role involves managing resources and logistics required to maintain, repair, and refurbish products sold or already in use. The scope covers preventive and remedial maintenance services, managing maintenance facilities, and coordinating with field services engineering.
In this role, you will take ownership of planning and deploying resources efficiently to meet both customer expectations and business metrics. The position also requires interfacing with customer service managers to escalate issues and ensure seamless service delivery. You will develop both short-term and long-term resource plans based on forecasts and business commitments, which include recruitment, skill assessments, and continuous development through advanced training.
A key responsibility will be working closely with personnel from various business units, providing guidance on activity planning, technical issues, and project processes. The role demands adherence to predefined contracts and frameworks while allowing some flexibility in approach, making it essential to balance compliance with innovation.
Successful candidates must have a strong mechanical aptitude, proven communication skills, and experience leading, mentoring, and motivating technical teams. The position also favors candidates with practical knowledge of directional drilling and a methodical approach to solving complex customer problems. The Account Manager must be adaptable, capable of working in diverse environments, including on-shore facilities and customer locations, and eager to grow their expertise through industry-specific training.
Baker Hughes offers a supportive work culture that values diversity and the authentic contributions of each individual. Employees are encouraged to balance their work and personal lives through flexible policies and comprehensive health and well-being programs. The company invests heavily in talent development, leadership growth, and recognition of employee contributions.
Joining Baker Hughes means becoming part of a team pushing the boundaries of energy technology and contributing to safer, cleaner, and more efficient energy solutions worldwide. The company provides a competitive benefits package that includes medical care, life insurance, disability coverage, financial programs, and a suite of additional voluntary benefits designed to meet diverse employee needs.
